The Downingtown area offers a lot to do at all time of the year. Spend a day at Marsh Creek lake and rent a sailboat or kayak; just sit by the shore and read or go swimming in the large pool at the top of the hill. On any day of the year you can find the Stuble Trail full of hikers and bikers or a ball game going on at Kerr Park, across from the War Memorial honoring fallen soldiers from Downingtown from every was since the Great One.
Exton has the Exton Square Mall but many prefer Main Street with its many restaurants, shops and stores. Make sure you go to Maggie Moo's for ice cream.
